Celebrating South African culture, one game at a time!

To increase awareness and establish emotional connections with consumers, my team and I created Bos Blikkies, a game inspired by the classic South African game “3 Blikkies.”

I designed all the graphics you see in this post, aligning them with South African culture. The packaging is crafted to resemble a bos can, while the card designs mimic tea bag shapes, tying it all back to the heart of South African heritage.

This project was a collaborative effort, and I contributed to the creative concepts, ideation, and visual design to bring this vision to life.

Periods shouldn’t be a taboo topic—it’s time to educate and empower!

For this Creative Conscience collaboration project, we tackled the problem of educating young girls about menstruation and menstrual products. Our solution was to partner with The Cora Project to design educational campaigns and distribute products in both stores and underprivileged areas.

My role: I redesigned the product packaging to make it engaging, educational, and approachable. Each box includes: A fact about periods to bust myths .An interactive maze with a character offering reminders and guidance. Bamboo visuals to highlight its eco-friendly nature. Swimming-themed tampons packaging to reassure girls that they can still enjoy swimming during their periods.

This project combines education, sustainability, and creative design to help young girls feel confident and informed about their periods.

Jungle Oats New product- Graphic design, strategy, Concept development

For this project, we were tasked with creating a new product for a South African house of brands. I chose Tiger Brands, as it’s a brand I’ve always been familiar with and enjoyed. I designed Oats To Go, an innovative addition to the Jungle Oats family. This product was created with the busy individual in mind: Quick and nutritious breakfast solution for those on the go. A ready-made mix that allows you to bake a batch of cookies that lasts for weeks!

Perfect for people who want the goodness of Jungle Oats without the hassle of preparing breakfast every morning. With Oats To Go, nutritious mornings have never been easier!

Gift of the givers Social media post- Graphic Design, Strategy

Proud to share my first internship work I completed with agency Twenty3x. During my internship, I was tasked with designing impactful social media posts for @gift.of.the.givers to raise awareness for Palestine.

The Challenge Gift of the Givers needed a way to communicate the crisis in a way that was: Non-graphic Resembling a child’s storybook. Memorable and shareable.Adapt to brands style .My Approach I created vector-inspired visuals paired with strong, meaningful messaging that resonated emotionally while staying true to the brief. The designs aimed to evoke empathy and encourage audiences to share, spreading the message far and wide. This project showed me how powerful visuals can be in driving awareness for important causes.

From a First-Year sketch to a comfy, cosy, cute functional game In my first year, I worked on a project where we were tasked to create a world, character, and animal from scratch. It quickly became one of my favorite projects, and my process file was even selected for display at Vega’s first-year showcase. Fast forward to my final year, we were given the opportunity to identify gaps in our portfolios and create a high-quality piece to address them. I realized my portfolio lacked 3D modeling, animation, and videography.

Inspired by my love for video games and the first-year project, I decided to breathe new life into it. I created a game scene trailer, diving deeper into the story and visuals of Eve’s Ascent.

I collaborated with my game developer friends to make the project more than just a concept.

Together, we turned it into a fully playable game by the end of my third year. This is, without a doubt, my proudest project to date

During our brand activation 2023 at @vegaschoolofficial for @thepinkroom.foundation , I found inspiration in the powerful stories shared by our client. Each narrative shaped the visuals and copy you see here—simple yet striking, designed to be memorable and shareable. The goal? To make people stop scrolling and reflect. The copy was crafted with purpose: to evoke emotion, spark conversation, and create awareness

I designed a product to support individuals with anxiety—a butterfly-inspired robot paired with a wearable ring. When worn, the ring allows users to release and control digital butterflies that flutter around their space, creating a calming and immersive experience to ease anxiety.

Uber Eats - Web accessible & User friendly redesign

Through observational research, I found that adults 55+ prefer ordering in person rather than using an app. To bridge this gap, I designed a call feature within each restaurant on Uber Eats, allowing users to speak directly with an assistant to place their order & confirm payment—bringing the familiar experience they trust into the digital space.

Problem: Older adults avoid technology due to mobility limitations. Insight: They are used to ordering face-to-face. Solution: A user-friendly call-to-order feature for better accessibility!
